To all the gods of Kharak, Hiigara, and the Unbound, to the great Kiith-sa of old, to Sajuuk, to Karan S'jet, and to the Progenitors...

Please, if you are listening, grant us the boon of a piloting game where we can fly all of the various strike craft and, via co-op (a pilot and a gunner, or possibly multiple gunners depending on the vessel), the corvette class ships. Allow us to experience first-hand the intricacies of piloting a Triikor, and test it against an Acolyte, and then team up with a friend to take a Pulsar Gunship and test our mettle against a couple of Vagyr Assault Craft.

Even if the Cataclysm/Emergence craft must be unlocked by special achievements for the single-player levels instead of being a part of the regular single-player game, or are even restricted entirely to multiplayer and the simple, random vs cpu matches, this would be a great boon and generate much worship. The chance to fight CPU-controlled frigate and bigger ships would be beyond any expectation.

Please, great Gearbox, hear my prayer, and grant us this boon...
I think Gearbox got burned pretty badly by Battleborn. If they are ever going to give the genre another try, I bet they would focus on the multiplayer exclusively, which would leave them with a Homeworld reskin of Guns of Icarus. Nothing bad about it, but I don't think there would be enough brand recognition to get a critical mass playerbase to support it.
