There may be some unstated assumptions at work here. May I ask what your operating system is? Windows, Mac, Linux?

Geralt_of_Rivia: If you have a bigger game that consists of more than one file you have to download all of the files and make sure to start the correct one.

Which game are you talking about and what have you downloaded so far?

BreanneE2: Roller coaster tycoon deluxe. I have never done this to make fun all you want. Im not a couch potato that plays games 24/7. I just typed into Google download rollercoaster tycoon and it pulled up this. I've downloaded everything I can/see & still no luck.. Don't wanna waste the money to buy it and not get to play it ya know... I also can't get it to download the galaxy thing either
what OS are you using? AFAIK, there's only a windows version for RCT Deluxe.

also ask your ISP if you're connected through a VPN or proxy server, or if they've block any eastern-european IPs or servers? if you have trouble even downloading anything from gog's website it might be an ISP problem. using the GOG Downloader might help, but if you cant even download that... well, check with your ISP.

Nobody is making fun of you. Everybody is trying to help you that's why we are asking about details.

RCT is quite small there should only be one file to download. Are you sure it was downloaded fully without errors? What is the file name? The file should be around 360 MB big.

You could check the digital signature to make sure it was downloaded without errors. Try downloading it again if the signature fails to verify because that means the file is damaged or if you are not sure.

See I don't know how to do any of that. I will click on the rct to download it & it will download successfully and then I'll hit it and it will say cannot open link.

Since it seems like you have some issues with downloading from the website I recommend download GOG Galaxy which you can find here: https://www.gog.com/galaxy

When you have installed the client, you log in with your GOG-account and you should find your library as usual. Click on RCT and click on Install. The client will now download and install the game for you. When this is done, you can run the game as usual.

Did you followed the procedure as shown in the attached pictures? If yes at what step did you get an error message and can you make/upload a screenshot of the situation?

generally speaking, you mouse over "ACCOUNT", you click Library, you click your game's square, the thing pops up, and on the left under downloads click the name, then the window pops up saying to save file, then you click save file. then double click where the file saved to. so if you saved it on Desktop then double click it on your Desktop.

otherwise, you could try right clicking the name on the left, and clicking "Save Link As" and then saving it to your Desktop.

if you're not familiar with stuff enough to do this, then download and install Galaxy (as others have said), it might make things easier for you.

In that case: double-click downloaded installer, drag installer to applications folder in the handy little pop up showing the installer and the applications folder. It is now installed.

That would be quite impressive since it is a Windows-only game.

Ah yes. I haven't had my fourth cup of coffee yet. So I'll let you walk them through the Wine setup. :)
