Are they uncut? I remember that I had to turn the language to japanese on my MVS to be able to play uncensored games. How are the ones on GOG?

And may i add another question? Are these good or terrible ports?

Some people are stating that there are some emulation issues with these versions so it may be a good idea to do a read through or inquire with the people who are researching this.

Thanks for the reply. That doesn´t sound good. Maybe I just have to spend the money and get my MVS repaired. I was hoping that I could get some of my favourite games again for a reasonable price. But maybe not.

Update: The Samurai Shodown games seem to be uncut.

Only played Metal Slug (1) so far but that one is uncut with red blood. I guess all the SNK games here are uncensored.

My sources tell me that these are the same old roms floating around on the Internet, packaged with bad emulation. And I mean it, they (not sure if all, but some) are identical to the ones dumped by "unofficial entities". Which is... interesting.

Buy the games here, but go play the roms with a better emulator, the way you like it. And everybody wins.

Sorry, the purchase here includes a total lack of effort on Gog part to do anything to fix the rubbish setup that the original con artists who made these did, and your suggesting someone hand over money for that? I mean really? If anything you are correct in pointing out what another debacle this is, and suggest people not support this type of behaviour!

I know what you mean. You want to play your roms legally on an emulator. Unfortionately, this wouldn´t work in my country, because the license refers only to the specific copy you bought on gog. Well, if its legal in your country then buy them here for cheap but only on discount. Otherwise these sloppy ports are way overpriced.

You are right! At least Metal slug X has nasty emulation problems in final mission. Game crashes in final mission and cannot complete it. I already sent ticket to GOG but no answer yet.

Oh man, that´s it for me. I can´t buy them. At least the metal slug series. So which of these gog-roms are actually good emulations? What about blazing star... they couldn´t fuck up blazing star... did they? O.o

update: they contain the original roms. you just have to search in the right folder I guess. so maybe they are worth their money, at least on discount.
