Hi,

not sure if this is right place but 3 weeks ago I got Icewind Dale EE and couldn't get it working
so I requested a refund and supposedly I should have gotten an email saying they got my ticket, right?

Checked my spam and I'm getting GOG promos (is there a way to turn that off?) but still no reply or confirmation that they're working on it.

So what should I do? Is there a way to directly ask for help?

Nowadays you should receive an e-mail saying you need to reply to keep the ticket open, though maybe this differs for refund requests. It used to be possible to check all your tickets under My activities on the support site, but that page has been disabled and support tickets can only be viewed via the link that's e-mailed to you.

Sometimes e-mails can get lost in transit, so they don't even make it to your spam folder. If I were you, I'd change the account address to one from a different provider, then submit a new refund request. That way, if you're still within the 30-day period, you can be sure you have a valid refund request pending. If it turns out the initial request was received and still active, the second one can simply be closed.

I've only started browsing the forums this year, but I haven't seen staff participating in support threads here. You could try contacting GOG on social media, but those accounts are promotional tools and I don't expect you'll get an answer (other than "submit a refund request" maybe).

As for promotional e-mails, go to subscriptions and uncheck what you don't want (you normally get there by hovering over your username at the top of the page, clicking Privacy & Settings, then Subscriptions).

Good luck.
