So I'm not sure if I'm missing something or experiencing a bug. I've spent over 40 USD in the summer sale so far and it have now been a week since I went over the 10 USD threshold that was apparently required to be granted the game for free. Yet I haven't been sent a code for the game yet? It's not in my library in GOG, I haven't received a mail regarding it (checked spam folder as well), nor does the game show up as "Free" when I browse the GOG store.

Can anyone tell me how it's supposed to be granted and sent to you? I've read this page but that one doesn't really go into details.

You're supposed to get an email with a code which can then be redeemed on the GOG site. If you haven't received it, I would contact support on Monday. Don't worry, they are normally very good at sorting these things out.
Any luck? I have the same issue. I already own the game, but it's nice to get the code to give it away to someone that doesn't have it, or to trade at a later date.
You should have received a mail with the code. If you didn't (which sometimes happens) have a look at the Orders & Settings page. It might show up there together with the gift key.

If it doesn't show there as well the only thing left is to contact support. They will usually fix you up pretty quick. However, they don't work on weekends and with the sale going on it might take a few days until you receive an answer.
Thanks for your replies. Sadly not even the Orders & Settings page listed it. I'll go ahead and contact support just to be sure that the ticket is created before the sale ends (which I assume is today?).
Sale ends Tuesday from what I've heard.

Minor update, got this reply on my support ticket:
Due to high demand, your free copy might take a while to arrive. Please be patient.
Which is... questionable... I've waited over a week already... :|
Waiting for Alan Wake, or was it Waiting for Godot? Some script must have failed GOG badly if they have to send the games out manually.
