When just the husband and me, on the couch with a lap tray for each of us. Hubby watches YT somehow. Me, I focus on eating. We never have a movie/etc playing. If we had one going, I pause it while eating. Can't do both!

When we have people over, I'll usually clear* the dining table to eat there.

*Clear: Because it's otherwise always set up for board games.
