thegreyshadow: Thanks for all messages and recommendations.

I just finished Far Cry 2. I liked it a lot. It is a flawed masterpiece.

As for the graphics powers, this might not mean much but I was able to play in on native resolution (FHD) with the highest graphical settings and no performance degradation at all.

Now I started Deus Ex and it is very interesting, although a bit quirky.
Are you going to play Cyberpunk

Maybe. The price it's fair although it's out of my range. Most games I purchased were below USD 5, usually on sale. Some were absolute steals, such as XIII for 99c IIRC. Hence it's doubtful I would purchase Cyberpunk at this price point.

However, it looks so attractive... One should never say never ;-)

Aplomado: I have an intel HD 620, which is probably similar to yours.

Here are games that have run well, and that I have enjoyed:

Call of Juarez 2 and 3- good shooters
Skyrim Legendary edition (runs well on 1600x900 and high textures, if you turn all the other effects way down)- very fun game!
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Oblivion
Portal 2
This information is pure gold. Yes, I have a Intel HD 620 onboard as my video card.

Bethesda games are on sale, and I took advantage of it to get some really good games:

- Dishonored (complete)
- Prey (digital deluxe)
- Quake II
- ES III Morrowind
- ES IV Oblivion
- RTCW
- Wolfenstein (2 pack)
- Doom 3 BFG (which also supposedly shall include Doom I and II according to the store page)

Thanks for the recommendations!
Got a discount code and grabbed the Shadow Warrior games. Thanks again for the recommendations!
How does Prey run on your Intel 620?

If you are willing to buy elsewhere, Subnautica is an excellent game on steam. Open world, with lots of exploration.

I have been playing it on low graphics presets, and 1600x900 resolution, and it works pretty well.
I would recommend SOMA. Graphics are not that demanding and it's an interesting game. If you like horror games then give this one a try.

I'm not a big fan of horror but I found it interesting. I wishlisted it and as soon as it reaches a nice price (in a sale) I plan to grab it. Thanks for the recommendation.

It's one of those games that will make you think. lol. What's great about SOMA is that it has zero jump scares, at least from what I can remember, and relies on the atmosphere. It's more psychological horror than anything. It's not perfect but it does the job.
A personal favourite of mine is thief gold, unreal tournament classic, postal 2 (ridiculous fun), and F.E.A.R. The FEAR sequels do not quite live up to the legacy of the first. Jedi Knight 2, System Shock 2, Deus Ex, and Shadow Warrior (remake) are also pretty awesome. It's hard to choose, honestly.

Good golly, somebody mentioned Dusk, but a few that I haven't seen here yet are

Amid Evil
Prodeus
Ultrakill (Demo available
Gloomwood (again, demo is there)

And people keep bringing up Star Wars games like Dark Forces and Jedi Academy, but I still haven't seen
Battlefront or
Battlefront II :c

Do those resemble multiplayer too closely (since the single player parts are essentially just bot matches that play pretty dang similarly to the multiplayer)? In any case, they can both be played in first person, so
