Issues with backward compatibility already?

This sounds really cool like a mix of Planescape Torment and Grim Fandango. It definitely goes on the wishlist. We need more great RPGs like this one and Greedfall.

No, just a bug.
Apparently there's a specific codec missing that's required for playback of the videos.

It's been hotfixed since late yesterday, and I presume the Galaxy build of Disco Elysium was updated already but the offline backup installer version of the hotfix has yet to appear in the library.
Business as usual.

Looks interesting... Will wait for a discount though. I have a decent amount of games in supply currently and Underrail usually gets 50-60% off when on sale.

What a strange choice for game's title... Misleading to say the least. But reviews, screens and description tell me, that I should buy it today :) Despite RPGs have not been my cup of tea in the past, I'm buying it today, unless tralier puts me off. Nice promo with Underrail as well, GOG :)

UnderRail for free with the purchase is a shteal.

This game made me go against my self-imposed "game-buying rules." If something looks good - or great - but costs more than ten or fifteen bucks, I'll wait for a sale. I've gotten several great survival/management/god-type games recently, which now seems to be my favorite genre. However, my brain had started itching recently for "something else." I stumbled upon "Disco Elysium" and thought "What a horrible name; I wonder what it is."

I started reading reviews, here and elsewhere, and that voice in my head (well, one of them, anyway) started making a case: "Psst. Hey. Look at this. References to Planescape: Torment galore. Nearly everybody has something positive to say about this. And look, you can play a character that smokes and drinks, so you can play as yourself! Wouldn't that be cool? You know you love games that are heavy on dialogue and interactions and exploration and weirdness; you just haven't been playing them much lately, but... this could be *just* the thing you're looking for. Come on, what do you say? Tomorrow's payday, you know. You owe it to yourself. You're off Friday so you can stay up late into the night on Thursday, smoking and drinking and playing this game. Come on. You know it'll be a good time. You'll be dead before you know it. Just do it already."

So I did. And now I'm going to spend all night at work thinking about the first 45 minutes of the game. The mirror. My shoe. The smoker next door. Who's in the kitchen? I'm not ready to go outside!

I see the replacement title is still being called 'strange' and 'horrible'.

The main char looks like Torrente; I will definitely get this game on first decent discount. Wishlisted for now; and I already own UnderRail and Expedition!
