There should be a moratorium on adding new content for the game as long as either players or devs are excited about it. When, if ever, the game hits the botton of the bargain bin and can't even run on Windows 15.1 without three layers of virtualization, the original devs have long since found other jobs and the studio turned to apps for cardboard, then and only then it'll be finally okay to resume supporting a product.
I wouldn't be so hesitant about this if the base game wasn't under 2 hours. For $27. (more on ps4) And felt like it was missing a level near the end.
Is this published by Paradox?

Took me 8 hours and I did not find all the secrets yet .. I wonder why people are rushing those things.

Nope, as you can see on the gamecard it is published by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment.

Sorry, remind me to put:
***warning joke incoming***
Before things! Paradox is well know for DLC'ing anything to death, looks like this game is also going to be released 1 level at a time, hence the hilarity of saying it was released by Paradox.

Ah, did not know this.

I didn't. I played through it at a normal pace, stopping to look at cool scenery along the way, and when it was over I felt absolutely no desire to replay levels to find collectibles I missed, because that's tedious and doesn't add anything to the experience.
The base game instantly became my favorite recent platformer, along with Inside and Limbo. It is surprisingly short, though, and I know that that is the cause that so many people feel disappointed. But for me, it is worth the $20. I'll surely buy the expansion pass.
Yes, it was cool but short. Got it with Inside in the bundle, also an enjoyable game. So that is just part of what is covered by the expansion pass and more to come?
This is only a 4mb download. Looks like anyone who has the game also has the dlc data too, all you would need is perhaps some form of unlocker if anyone hasn't purchased the dlc

Spreading an unlocker is the only way to stop companies doing this. If you buy a game and there are files in it, they're your files to access. Nobody can tell you "no you can't touch that part of the game we haven't allowed it", outside of PR shills and people with Stockholm Syndrome.

So are you saying if I delve deeper into the installer and dlc installer and say for example, My findings show that the dlc installer just creates an empty text document to activate the dlc. Your telling me I could share this info on gog legally and everyone can benefit?

Because every dlc I have on my account including pre order exclusives is only 4 mb each

It'd teach them to not do this and go back to only making you download dlc if you've bought it, instead of this unlock crap.

Remember Alice: Madness Returns? "GIsSpecialPCEdition=TRUE"

EDIT: What's the point of even calling it DLC when I'm not downloading it separately? Paid Patch sounds more appropriate.
