SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest is now available DRM-free. If you own Spellforce 3, you can get the expansion 40% off until June 28th, 5pm UTC.

Three years after the Purity Wars, Nortander is on the cusp of a new era.
However, things aren’t as peaceful as they seem – when the Queen calls you, a disgraced General, back to your homeland, you’re plunged in a war on many fronts: while a hatemonger threatens to tear apart the Dwarven realm, an enigmatic cult of Dark Elves harvests the souls of people for reasons unknown. Gather your allies and prevent a catastrophe!

Loger13: 1. Are there at least approximate dates when we will see the Kingdoms of Amalur here? I want to that day I have already prepared to throw money at the monitor (I mean to GOG/THQ Nordic :) ).
For what it's worth, here's the wishlist entry: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/kingdoms_of_amalur_reckoning Would certainly buy it.

I am aware about this wishlist entry, but at the moment I don’t think that the votes on this particular entry will affect something. THQNordic bought intellectual property, but so far we do not know anything about the right to publish. In the event that THQNordic resolves (or has already resolved) this issue, I am sure Kingdoms of Amalur will appear here sooner or later. Well, if it does not become another exclusive of EGS (but in this case, the voices will not help just as well).
Such voices are needed, but rather in those cases when the game has few of them. Perhaps if there were more, some very good games appeared here and successfully passed the local too nichecuration.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: ThomNG, how come this game, and the original Spellforce 3 game, and many other THQ games (i.e. Battlechasers) have Steam Achievements on Steam, yet do not have Galaxy Achievements on GOG?

Being treated unequally to other customers in this manner is a huge disincentive for people like myself to want to buy your games. And also, it's just plain not fair. A dollar from a GOG customer has the same value as a dollar from a Steam customer, so therefore all customers deserve to be treated equally by receiving identical feature parity with the other platform's version.

So why doesn't THQ insist on delivering this?
I completely agree, luckily most of the recent releases of THQ Nordic seems to include achievements, so the attitude seems to have changed, but many great games of the recent past still remain without achievements on GOG and they deserve to have them, such as the SpellForce games, the first two chapters of Darksiders, Battle Chasers, ELEX, Red Faction Guerrilla, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and many others.

TerriblePurpose: Pretty sure there are more GOG users that use Galaxy than those that don't.

Korotan: GoG has released a statistic not long before, that Galaxy is only used on the minority of users.
Got a link to that?
Nice release! As it's a standalone game, is it meant to be played after Spellforce 3 or are they not related?

Sadly not.

Ancient-Red-Dragon:
Thirded.

The only time I don't buy games from cheap bundles these days is when GOG outright rejected the developer (which happens far more frequently than it has any right to) and I had been eagerly anticipating the game, or are on sale for a decent price on GOG... and have full version parity. Otherwise, it is a waste of money to risk losing out on updates because the developer cannot be trusted to work within the ecosystem.

Ah well, thanks for the info though.

Interesting stuff, but i don't always seek out what's happening behind the scenes, so the usual thing i do is to cast my vote for the games i'm interested too. Whether or not it changes things i know not, but hitting that little yellow button doesn't cost me anything, so... In any case, if what you say above is true, i hope the time to see KoA on GOG is near.

Thanks guys, a bit of a surprise launch but still got it.
Thanks for not including the achievements, we all hate them anyway, right ? :|
How exactly does this play? In some shots it seems like a builder RTS, in others it seems more like a Gauntlet style RPG

ThomNG: But we hope that some of the titles you mentioned can occur on GOG in future :)
Thanks a lot for supporting DRM-free gaming, this is VERY appreciated.

And please try to complete game series here, not only "Alone in the Dark (2008)", but "Alone in the Dark Illumination", too. It may be crap, but it is part of the legacy, so it should be archived here.

Or titles from your sister houses like "Dead Island" or "Dead Island Riptide"... Thanks a lot in advance. :)

Korotan: On GoG most people buy for DRM free and do not even use Galaxy.
That's not true that most people on GOG do not even use Galaxy. The majority of GOG customers use Galaxy, and a GOG employee admitted that in a documentary a few months ago.

This is what I thought as well, but he says the opposite. I'd love to have a link if anyone's got one.
