Wooho, we didn't need to wait +1 week for this expansion, looking at you TQ: Atlantis! :P

Anyway, glad to see how feature/content rich the expansion is, and it was a nice gesture to give it 40% off for the base game owners, considering it's standalone nature. Looking forward for further THQ Nordic releases on GOG! :)

Okay mayby it is now different. It is longer that I read it so for an recent source I would be happy too.

Love the atmosphere of the new Spellforce, great work! You should have rebooted the series without a number instead of going for the "3". The new studio's work is way more exciting and professional than the og German Spellforce titles back in the day~. Thank you for the loyalty discount too!

Maybe the 'majority' of GOg users has Galaxy 2.x, or maybe not, i dont have it , wont get it not because i have anything against clients , fact is when i joined tehre seemed to be a old galaxy. the vlient was still in development, i tried it once, and uninstalled, i even tried 2.x i guess , because i could not get into GOG, thats why i used the client to see what was going on, after that i uninstalled it again.

GOG is DRM free thats why i joined , so why should i use a client if it is not forced? Steam has a 'forced' client, and i have to use it, i kinda 'accept' it , dont' really love it but it will do, and i new beforehand they used an client when i first signed up , i guess thats why i kinda 'accepted' it, GOG had no client that was needed in order to get the most out of GOG , thats why i dont use it.

Anyway ,if one would state: "most, or all people on Steam use client , that would be 100% true :D cause i ( have to) use it aswell :D doesnt mean i like or love it :D


Back on topic: Summer Sale

i see lots of nice offers, but i really miss the filter by price , would be great to be able to show all 1 euro, 5 euro games , games below a certain amount , orderded a-z now i have to manually search for games ....

Just a note: I believe you meant you tried the client when it was in beta and then again when it came out of beta. There is no 2.x version yet. That's just been announced and hasn't even been released for closed beta.

That aside, my original statement was that more GOG customers use Galaxy than those that don't. I was fairly certain GOG had said something to that effect. Then Korotan told me it was the opposite and hat GOG had said fewer GOG customers use Galaxy than those that do. So I asked if they had a link to that information (since it's the opposite of what I remember reading/hearing). Then Ancient-Red-Dragon replied and said the opposite if what Korotan said, indicating I was correct the first time. Id just like a link to see what the real story is.

So I'm not seeing what your post has to do with that, as it doesn't indicate one way or another what GOG actually said about Galaxy usage among their customer base.

No, no worries on that front. I found your Galaxy experience somewhat similar to mine, except I tried the beta three times and gave up because of issues: it would crash, or freeze my machine, or just stop working at all. So I left it for quite some time until it came out of beta. Then I tried it again and it worked fairly well. I've been using it fairly regularly for some of my games and don't have many complaints with it.

I am Dutch, we Dutch seldom worry about anything, :D even our PM always laughs away anything and everything with a very big smile, many times our newspaper corrects many texts, afterall in a democracy people are allowed to have an opinion, but many times they remove or change text, thats how they ( govt) roll.

Anyway, people dont like use of CAPS in text ? to many use of ..... or ??? marks... and maybe to long replies , just ask and we gladly edit and or delete it :D
