I am currently playing this because it was free some weeks ago on epic and i recommend it. Glad to see it on gog too.
Sounds interesting, will check out some reviews.
Somewhere there's a mistake, the discount or the announcement.
I love me some neo-noir cyberpunk stuff, and adventure games. And even the pixel art looks quite good in this, although it annoys me a little how they call it retro-style. This is very much the new, indie-pixel art style and not how actual adventure games of youre used to look like. Wishlisted for now. I'll need to find some reviews.

Oh, and is it just me or are the system requirements kinda absurdly high? 8GB ram to run a 2D pixel game? Same as the freaking Witcher 3? Really?
"A variety of hilarious, exhilarating achievements are waiting to be uncovered as you explore a rich and detailed background story.
Hooked on collectors' fever? You won't want to miss this."

Yet, there are no achievements in the gog version, again. So, a no buy from me, again, until developers stop treating us gog users as second class citizen. You can't just sell a lesser version on different platforms but ask for the same price. Developers really like to avoid marketing courses in universities.

Hm. I can see achievements in Galaxy (see attached screenshot). But i don´t know if they are working, as i haven´t played the game yet. Maybe Gog or somebody who have time (i aint, sry) could kindly confirm/test & answer your question?

Good reviews.
Decent 9-10 hours of gameplay.
Pixel art being actually an art, indeed.
And the discount.

Well some new "2D" games are actually built using 3D engine. The example is like Shovel knight. In youtube channel Boundary Break the developer shows how the so called "2D" work. Turn out it was several layers of image positioned in different distance to create this rolling background effect. Also probably the large RAM requirement maybe because the developers just want to make sure the game running properly, or the developers suck at optimizing their game.

Exactly. It guess it's mostly light effects. Inmost was unplayable for me because of them. Hard to imagine how much work would be needed to make the same effect using "old" methods, which probably means building scenes/animations pixel by pixel...
