Would love to have this game available here. From what I've seen of it so far the gameplay looks like a lot of fun.

First, it's roguelike game, you don't usually play those for story do you? Second, it very much has a story, though quite convoluted, not straightforward and prone for interpretations which not everyone likes.

Also I don't watch the videos you linked but just finishing the game as in beating final boss fast as possible will give only small fraction of storyline. To find all the pieces is task for many hours.

I wonder if Housemarque has drm on the game. I would think at $70 U.S. it shouldn't.

What has price have to do with DRM?

Newly released AAA games loaded with Denuvo DRM are often very expensive when they first land. When it comes to Steam released games the fact that it has DRM in no way reflects the cost of the product.

Dudes, licensing denuvo isn't cheap. At the end of the day someone has to bear the cost, and I can't imagine executives to relinquish their bonuses so easily. I'm afraid it falls on us users then.

I think FitGirl would have the game plus the DLC extremely reasonable. However, it's somewhat less than legal, so you might as well wait for it on GOG!
