Go to your account, select the game, and in the tab "more" select "serial key". What game it is? It doesn't allow you to play or is the multiplayer?

Yeah, Settlers 3 is one of those weird cases. Where presumably ripping out that function would require massively rewriting the game to some degree.

Make sure to keep a lookout in the bonus features tab when buying games in the future.

Think of it more akin to a game of resource chains and path management. Most of your activities are restricted to the paths built and the ratios they work in. So to make for example a ship, you need wood. So you need a woodcutter, a sawmill, and then the harbor.

Woodcutter cuts wood, sawmill processes wood, finished planks delivered.

That sort of thing.

Not a problem; I played the distant cousin, Knights & Merchants which happens to share a lot of similar DNA.
