I must say, GOG dreamlist is fantastic. It has so much potential, it's not just a way to ask for old games but it could also be improved and become like a wiki for games. Like for example, this director did this game so you can find every other game made by the same director or etc. Obviously not so convoluted with information so it does not lose the fluidity that the old wishlist had.
It's really nice to have a timeline of old games that one had played or maybe would have loved to play it.

Thanks!

It already exists, and has existed for over 20 years, called Mobygames.
There were also once "TheLegacy: a nostalgic game museum" that did that.
Can only be found on web.archive.org now.

If you like the Dreamlist, why do you want to shut it out?
It's a dreamlist, not a wishlist any longer, because wishes become true more often than dreams. ;)

Despite its kinks, I do think it's a wonderful thing, and has renewed interest in the dream to get some of the old, but also some of the new games here.

Also, let's be honest, I didn't think they could code such a thing into the old website. Seriously, that bodes well for the site overhaul.

When I logged into the site today, there was a button to go to an alternative website layout ... much more relaxed actually ... which seems to be gone now. Did anyone else catch that? Or did I hallucinate?

Yesterday was April First, so unless you managed to stumble across the https://www.gog.com/blastfromthepast Blast from the Past page, I can't imagine it was anything serious.

Unless GOG's BizDevs are dropping secret A/B tests while on holiday.

Ahhh. I see. I usually ignore April 1st, it's the day trolling supposedly becomes funny ... and it doesn't ever really.
vote for DDinosaur with Double D's, hot candidate for game of the year 2025 :D
