Ancient-Red-Dragon: So this is from the same devs who never puts their Terminator game on discount on GOG?
And the same devs who also took eons to bring the DLC for the game that they never put on discount onto GOG?
...even though the same game goes on sale on Steam with heavy discounts multiple times per year?
They can keep their RoboCop game off of GOG then for all I care, because I'm not paying full MSRP on GOG just because they can't ever be bothered giving any discounts to their GOG customers, whom they obviously don't care one iota about.
And I'd say probably not, no, they most likely wouldn't be releasing that RoboCop game on GOG in the first place, or so it seems based on how they already treat GOG as if it's a platform that they don't really want to be on.
TheGrimLord: We got their last game
Ancient-Red-Dragon: Well, that statement sure is
omitting tons of context, the lack of which causes it to give readers a
very misleading impression, and also an
illegitimately positive connotation.
Look, mate. It's not worth the song and dance. I just said they had their previous game here, so it was a possibility that this one may come too, which has happened before. Why is it my problem that the game never goes on sale?
Are you even listening to yourself right now? Let me go back and repeat what you said in more clearer terms:
"Because this publisher upset me, I don't want their game to go DRM-Free in a climate where the majority of games are DRM locked."
In other words, you sir, don't want others to be able to play this game because of something that upset you. Now I'm not one to play babysitter to what I hope is a grown man, but that's a little bit selfish on your part. I mean, what if we don't care?
This business is riddled with problems. GOG has it's share of issues too. But people still buy games here. If the developer wants to bring their game here where I'm sure at least 357 (so far) would want to support it, then why shouldn't they? Or any other platform? You're not making any sense. Cool down, take a chill pill. It's just a computer game.
