We got their last game, so hopefully it'll come here too. Game looks amazing from the trailer. I'm sold.
Maybe, maybe not. I'd wager not on day-1, since the announcement trailer only mentions Steam and Epic.

Agreed on that part. This could very much be like a Mortal Shell situation where it's on EGS first and then comes to GOG later. But there's a plus to that. Before everyone gets upset, hear me out. When this game and for that matter, any game comes out on Day 1, it usually requires a bit of patches. Their Terminator game required quite a few iirc. So I'm sure that this one will also require quite a few patches to be basically bug free and have all the necessary DLC additions. By the time GOG gets it, it should be that more complete version.

Did the bots give up on down voting you?

I dunno. I think they finally removed the system.
I'm more interested in Greedfall 2.

So this is from the same devs who never puts their Terminator game on discount on GOG?

And the same devs who also took eons to bring the DLC for the game that they never put on discount onto GOG?

...even though the same game goes on sale on Steam with heavy discounts multiple times per year?

They can keep their RoboCop game off of GOG then for all I care, because I'm not paying full MSRP on GOG just because they can't ever be bothered giving any discounts to their GOG customers, whom they obviously don't care one iota about.

And I'd say probably not, no, they most likely wouldn't be releasing that RoboCop game on GOG in the first place, or so it seems based on how they already treat GOG as if it's a platform that they don't really want to be on.

Well, that statement sure is omitting tons of context, the lack of which causes it to give readers a very misleading impression, and also an illegitimately positive connotation.

Keep voting for it could help:

If I remember correctly the issues with Terminator: Resistance were entirely down to the publisher, Reef Entertainment's negligence. RoboCop: Rogue City is published by Nacon which lately seems to have been warming up to even put major titles up for pre-order on GoG.

And there's the fact that Teyon are Polish developers. Which, of course is no guarantee for anything, but certainly nudges the scales more towards of RoboCop: Rogue City eventually getting a release on GoG as well.

GOG rarely gets mentioned anyway, even if the game comes here day one. We're a blip on the sales radar for the most part.

Look, mate. It's not worth the song and dance. I just said they had their previous game here, so it was a possibility that this one may come too, which has happened before. Why is it my problem that the game never goes on sale?

Are you even listening to yourself right now? Let me go back and repeat what you said in more clearer terms:

"Because this publisher upset me, I don't want their game to go DRM-Free in a climate where the majority of games are DRM locked."

In other words, you sir, don't want others to be able to play this game because of something that upset you. Now I'm not one to play babysitter to what I hope is a grown man, but that's a little bit selfish on your part. I mean, what if we don't care?

This business is riddled with problems. GOG has it's share of issues too. But people still buy games here. If the developer wants to bring their game here where I'm sure at least 357 (so far) would want to support it, then why shouldn't they? Or any other platform? You're not making any sense. Cool down, take a chill pill. It's just a computer game.

If the article/trailer said just PC, I'd agree there would be a chance, but it specifically said "via Steam and Epic," which is usually a done deal.
If the developer's previous game was released day-1 here, sure, but it didn't.
If the publisher was known to bring all their games here, there would also be a good chance. Alas, a lot of Nacon's games are still missing.

In short, day-1 is not looking good.

So we'll just have to wait, like with everything else here.
