The title pretty much says it all. The sound is skipping like crazy. I tried switching from Soundblaster Pro to MIDI where I was able, and it stopped some of the stuttering, but I had to leave the digital sound samples as Soundblaster since I wasn't sure of the other options - booting up the game, the sound sometimes skips and stutters, and occasionally freezes up the frame on digital samples. I am not sure how to solve this problem, it is driving me crazy!

Have you tried adjusting the number of cycles?

Set cycles up = 500 and cycles down = 500 and use the ctrl + F11/F12 keys to adjust the speed of the emulation. See if that decreases skipping.
