Ion Fury. Best easter egg / game secret ever!

I'm having a blast. It's incredibly refreshing playing an FPS jam packed with secrets that aren't trivial to discover. Most are very difficult, and some even downright cruel. But that just makes it all the more rewarding when you do find them.

Ahh, The Barrens. No other place quite like it in gaming. Who the hell is this Chuck Norris dude they're always going about though?

I hate to break it to you, but that could easily pass for Far Cry 2. :P
The graphics is so primitive, yet it looks so good!

The references are pretty insane. I even found a reference to the 1990s sci fi Hardware https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099740/
Unfortunately you don't get to drive that car though :(

Finally finished Prince of Persia 2 - The Shadow and the Flame. It took me THREE FOCKING MONTHS to reach the ending credits (while playing only on Sunday afternoons though), how the heck did I achieve the same results with much more spare time (on the game's 75-min countdown) at the end of the game in the Nineties?!?

Maybe it was because I had a lot less games to play and contents to consume and books to read etc. when I was younger? Go figure...

Well done! I remember you posting some screenshots a few months ago :) I never managed to finish it in the nineties myself, but I did finally manage to beat it for the first time last year I think. Glorious game.

Have you tried Sands of Time and its two sequels?

Of course, I've played them all (except for the latest two). And now I'm playing all the PoP saga's games once again :-P (after PoP 2 I'll install PoP 3D)

Same here, played all of them except for the latest two. Series it seems peaked with Warrior Within, which I still want to replay that some day to get the proper ending: final fight is against the shadow monster, and not the lady in red.

I don't exactly remember the ending, but I remember pretty well that, compared to The Sands of Time (which I essentially mastered, gameplay and combat-wise), Warrior Within was frustratingly long and messy to navigate...
