Hello to everyone concerned about the Incoming list.

I love GoG, crawling on it since it's out and I like the way it works and where it goes.

But the Incoming games list is kind of missing a lot of updates, I got several (too much in fact) examples of games that cames out on GoG at the same time of other platforms but without a warning.

Next in date for me : Overload (merely Descent 4), which will go out the 31st May (yes in 5 days), and for a dev team (the same as the original Descent Serie) like this one, I don't really undertand why it's absent from Incoming list, and how the games are chosen (if they are) to appears in this list (or not).

I'm personnaly ready to wait sometimes more than a year before buying a game just to see if it's coming on GoG (almost only by checking the Incoming List)... And I can't count how many times a game was suddendly added to GoG just some days after I get it somewhere else, and not necessarily around the official release. (mostly more than a year after).

Are other people having the same troubles or confusions or "misleading" ?
Is there a diffrence between this list on Galaxy and on the site (I check it with Galaxy), even if I doubt about that ?
Who else knew that Overload will came out on GoG the same day than on Steam except by reading Steam forums and the devs answer ?

Yes, that upcoming list is sorely lacking. Why not go help GOG make it better?

Wrong! Apply for a position at GOG and move to Warsow and go to work if accepted.
You may want to check:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2

GOG never maintain any reliable official lists or services.
You have to rely on 3rd party tools, scripts, threads, community members, to get infomation you want.

In fact, before Magog database went to "classic" mode, the major users of it are GOG staff.
Yes. Employee of GOG rely on a 3rd party database to fulfill their daily works.

Hello. It certainly is a negative of GOG that they don't announce all upcoming games and people have complained in the past about it several times, but nothing seems to have changed. One thing you can do to lessen the disappointment is to keep your eye on the following threads about potentially upcoming games:

Yes I know about the forum and the upcoming threads, but I find these often a little bit unreadable.

Except with a 1st post constantly updated, I find the forum tool not really adapted for an up to date list.

And most of all : There is an adapted tool, the Incoming list in front page, but it's not updated...

And yes thanks for the job suggestion, I have to quit mine, move and hope to be engaged :p
