zeffyr: The game itself, you're right. It's a new package entry in the database which was probably made to include this:

Now includes the Original Game Director's Cut bundled for introducing new players to the franchise
What seems to have changed is that I now have a separate library entry for 'The Dawning Clocks of Time - Director's Cut'. The inclusion of the original DCoT with the Remake was announced at the end of January, although the changelog doesn't reflect that. That announcement said 'it has been added as a launch option to GOG Galaxy and a desktop shortcut', which gives me the impression the original plan was to install both of them together, but I don't know whether it was ever implemented like that.
