I did it, a $40 pledge. Space Cows, thou are mine!

Was a hard decision, as I really wanted that little USB rocket at $80 (and the Roger Dean-esque bonus world), but I think I chose the right tier for myself ultimately.

Welcome amongst backers! :-) I'm considering increasing amount of pledge as well ;-)

Do it, join the league of Interstellar Bovine Pioneers. :)

My donation was via PP, so it probably won't move the goal until they add those in.
What concerns me is a recent slowdown in progress:

Where does that slowdown come from? :-S It's such an innovative project!
Still looks like we can do it (I'm saying "we" althought I haven't pledged yet...I will though, don't worry!)

They need more media coverage! MOAR!

They need to publish more ingame videos. Artbooks and tshirts won't bring as much attention as those gameplay might bring.

Also few more words about team's experience in creating of games would be nice and calm those undecided potential backers.

Paypal donations never shows on the Kickstarter count (or Kicktrack, which only counts Kickstarter, not external donations) as Kickstarter has no insight whatsoever over that, and as such can only count towards stretch goals, not the primary goal.

The team may, of course, display the Paypal-pledged amount (or a total of all sources) on their own site, but as it is completely external to Kickstarter, Kickstarter cannot count it.

Any graphics on the project's Kickstarter page are courtesy of the project team, not of Kickstarter, and as such progress graphics may or may not also include external pledges.

They do have a line on their page for the donations that have come in this way. Currently it reads:

Pledged Via PayPal: $6,925 (updates once every 24 hours)

A shame that it doesn't count towards goal, especially if they fall short by the amount that this would cover.

Yeah, that line (as most content on the page) is added by the project team (or a script of theirs that keeps it updated), but as Paypal pledges aren't handled by Kickstarter, it cannot count towards the primary goal (anything beyond the funding goal, however, can be brought in in any manner - say, a flexible funding run on IndieGoGo - and can count towards stretch goals, because "stretch goals" isn't a function of Kickstarter, but decision of the team).

A slump in the middle is normal, I wouldn't worry about it. Look how it went for Elite 4:

I hope so... I'm actually getting a little bit nervous about stretch goals, I was hoping that we may achieve 450k goal, but now I'm not so sure. Hm.
Pretty sure it will, promising project like this with such a good start, I wouldn't worry about that.
So, backed this with $20!

And they also uploaded a vid of very early build gameplay on youtube!!

I'll be checking that out, now!

Nice move :) I've already seen the video. There's no much gameplay, but it's nice to see more ingame engine at work. Those ships on lakes/seas - I'm in love with that view! :)
Yeah, well, I do hope they'll come out with the big guns soon (as announced), so that they'll win some more backers! The kicktracker at least predicts it will get backed, but very narrowly so...
