I just downloaded the latest version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition and noticed that the Complete
Edition DLCs are NOT in English. I went back and checked my previous downloaded game files and the files are
all in English. I double checked both my profile language setting as well as the game page tab in my games library
and found that they are both set for English Language.

I went back through the rest of the files I downloaded and all of the main files are in English. It is just the DLCs for
the game that download in what appears to be German. I do not speak any of the other languages that are offered
for download and I could not reach support to alert them of the language OOPS on the site, if that is what it is, due
to the standard support ticket steps calling for a report from my computer's systems. Since this is a SITE issue. Not
an issue in my computer this wastes my time and support's time since all that is needed is to let GOG know that an
issue is present in their site. Even trying to send a support ticket for GOG.com website asked for a report on what
my computer is setup and running. Again. This is a waste of both GOG Support's as well as my time.

Has anyone else run into this issue with the DLCs not being in the language you use when you downloaded them?

Could GOG please setup a faster ERROR/Corrupted Game Files Report support contact request so that we can
let them know when there are issues like this without wasting time on matters unrelated to site content issues?

It would service both GOG.com and the gamers who use the site and purchase products here much better when it
comes to such minor issues by cutting to the actual issue instead of wasting time looking at other things than the
actual issue.

Thank you.

If this is about the offline installers of the original 2015 release version (not the complete edition) there's no need to worry.

The separate offline installers for Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are indeed titled in Polish (setup_wiedzmin_3_dziki_gon_-_serca_z_kamienia_4.01 and setup_wiedzmin_3_dziki_gon_-_krew_i_wino_4.01) but if you install them and start the game it defaults to whatever language your OS is set to. At least that was the case last time I did a test run (with the day-1 release build).

Or in other words - despite the appearance of the offline installers seemingly only including the Polish localisation they do contain all the others as well.

The filename for Frostpunk: The Rifts is setup_frostpunk_-_szczeliny_1.6.1_51852_59618_(51757).exe. As pointed out above, it doesn't affect the game language.

Hello Swedrami. Thank you for your input.

My post is about the Complete Edition. Not the base game and add-on files. I have both game versions incidentally. The server page for offline installers gives both the original version and the updated versions of the game so the files are all set up separately with the specifications for each DLC shown in English on the page in both original and updated offerings. The files that actually download though are not in English. This represents a problem for English only folks like myself because I do not know which batch of the Complete Edition DLC files goes with the matching installer file and then I have the concern about non-English game files corrupting my English game installation.

For Ice_Mage. Thank you for the insight into Frostpunk: The Rifts but it has nothing to do with The Witcher 3 CE Issues I am having. As I said in my original post. All of my account settings are set to English. With this I should NOT be seeing any files in languages other than English so this would indicate that the English files page has had non-English files up-loaded to it. This is not the first time I have seen this happen on GOG over the years I have been a user/customer.

The problem I have over this issue is that the only support access I can seem to find is all "Automated Chat" which is a totally useless tool since it does not allow actually contacting GOG Support about this issue. In the past we used to be able to contact LIVE support about issues the automated chat tool can not, or is not setup to, understand questions on.

I have now tried for over 3 weeks to get GOG Support help with this issue from direct help to just alerting them that files have been uploaded to incorrect server for gamers to download updated game files from. Which in this case leaves us stuck running the older version without the updates and fixes patching corrects. When offered in correct files and languages.

I hope this helps with understanding my delima in this matter. I have well over 220 games on GOG.com so I would like to see actual LIVE support address these kinds of concerns and human error oops situations with uploading wrong files.

Thanks again to you both.

Maybe I'm missing something, but which DLC's?

Edit: the DLCs should only be under the "non-complete" version of TW 3 (as far as I can tell).
In the "Complete Version" they are already included in the "normal" DL files..

See either staff directions or the bottom of my complaint post if you can't manage to find the right phrasing to open a support ticket.
Alternatively, you can try e-mailing support (at) gog (dot) com
There is no live support.

I found out just after I posted my last post thanking the other 2 responders that I had a blond moment.. With my issue
over the Sam's Story DLC for Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition installer file (the small file that installs the DLC) keeps
downloading corrupted no matter what browser I use and with or without my anti-virus on or off. I do not use the GOG
Galaxy client because I do not like client based gaming. Too much added on stuff I have no use for. So. I have NOT
tried to download the Sam's Story DLC using GOG Galaxy because it will only allow installation. This has me frustrated
and tripping over the language issue for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GofTY Edition was tangled up in my Complete Edition mind. Like I said. I have both versions and I totally blonded out the fact that the CE version has all the DLCs included in
the game file downloads BIN files so they don't have to be downloaded separately like with the GofTY edition.

For both Swendrami and Ice_Mage. Again. I do thank you for your input. I apologize for my blond moment on the game versions differences. My confusion clearly added to all reader's confusions on m issues with the language. I went ahead
and downloaded the DLCs for TW3: WH GofTY so that I can update my game installation after tripping over a details and faq page that explained language settings and how downloads provide multiple languages for gamer's installation choice as you suggested. Had I not asked the questions and made the blond error I made I would not know the answers. I sincerely thank you for your input as it caused me to step back and LOOK AGAIN..

Now I just need to get the Corrupted Installer file issue for Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition's Sam's Story DLC delt with so that I can install the newest version of the game and play it with all DLCs installed and working.

Have a great weekend all! And. Thank you again!
LeonDWH.

For anyone else wondering, this is about the offline installer being corrupt server-side. GOG have been aware since February 1st if not earlier.

Hello again Ice_Mage,

Yes.. I have been following up on it now that my TW3 confusion is not so foggy..

I just left the page about that issue when I saw the update on the Community tab to a forum response.

Figured I should check it out and get back to the poster. Just in case... At least us gamers communicate.. A little bit
anyway.. LOL...

Between Blond Moments and Senile Compromised Gamer Brain I have my moments of lucidity... Rare as they are! ;<P
