I just hope they don't make it into a generic alien invasion movie, which it kind of looks like in this teaser.

Also, apparently Bruce Boxleitner/TRON isn't in this movie (unless they're keeping it a surprise), which sucks hard.

I liked the original and also Tron: Legacy was interesting. This new one doesn't raise my interest at all.

Someone at Didney really thought there was room for more Tron after the original and Tron: Legacy. The original at least was a fascinating work of primeval computer animation (even if it was quickly getting outpaced), Legacy felt like they picked up an episode from the CW, it was so filled with drama.

But sure, let's try a third swing!
