Hi all,
I thought some here may be interested. Long story short, Amazon now owns Twitch. With that stated they now have something called Twitch Prime. While it appears to be a subscription service to most, IF you subscribe to Amazon Prime a subscription to Twitch Prime if free.
As of today Twitch Prime began giving away "free" games, roughly 5 per month if March and April are a good example of their move forward plan.
Now I say "free" because you have to download and install the Twitch App. Once the app is installed the games you have claimed for "free" or purchased show-up within a "My Games" tab within the App. So far I have not been able to figure out how to play without:
1) the App remaining running, much like steam
2) leaving the internet connection on while playing
The above are way I placed the word free in quotes above. In any event, each of you can make your own decision if it is worth it (I will ALWAYS chose DMR-Free if I have a choice).
The games given this month are as follows:
1) Devil May Cry HD
2) Mr. Shifty
3) Oxenfree
4) Shadow Tactics
5) Superhot
6) Tales from the Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation
