By the way, if big numbers are what you're interesting, you could look up idle clickers. In Cookie Clicker, for example, you'll eventually be making octillions of cookies and beyond before you reach the point where there's no more major updates. (Note, however, that Cookie Clicker is rather slow, and other clicker games may be faster.)

TerriblePurpose: I'm not sure I see the issue. Someone has to actively add that mod/fan patch to a game so it's not like they're going to accidentally over-level. And if you've played through the game several times, it may be a fun change to go all God Mode on it.
Well the fan patch is pretty essential for that game, that's why it bummed me out. If it's optional within the patch though, then yeah that's no big deal as people can do what they like.

Lifthrasil: Nobody mentioned Baldur's Gate 2 yet? In that game you start powerful and the actual goal is becoming a god. In between is a lot of powergaming.
Although BG2 does have quite a bit of powergaming, it still has a level cap of 40 (including ToB) as far I remember so not exactly what I'm looking for.

Just use the XP-cap remover or the BG2-Tweaks mod.

ssling: Demise: Ascension has level cap of 1499 iirc.
This game has probably the most intrusive DRM I've ever seen in a video game. I bought it on Gamergate but In order to unlock the game you literally have to input your name, address and other personal info, as well as a serial code, but apparently that code only unlocks the game for play for a certain time and you need to email the devs to get a new one.

It's the most bizarre shit I've seen, the devs website is also this terribly formatted atrocity with 1997 geocities design.

I don't care how good the game is, I'm not inputting my personal data when I have no idea what the devs will do with it.

The Hyperdimension Neptunia series might be worth looking into.

Crosmando: ...
Sorry to hear that. What stops you from putting whatever fake data? As for serial code yes you need e-mail dev for key unlocking full version but it's one time only and never required again.

Nothing I guess lol, it's just weird.

Interesting, maybe it's because I uninstalled it or something and that invalidated my code? I might check it out again.

Maybe. Anyway if you didn't get this e-mail automatically you need sent him either order number when buying on e-junkie (only official store) or I guess key you got when buying from reseller.

I just wish they would release it on GOG.

Just wait 5 more years. By then GOG will be OK with that level of DRM. ;-)
