Mind you it's not a magic bullet, since some games (especially those on UE4) will still "stutter by design", but it can improve things when they are not configured properly, so if you're having issues do take a look at their ini config files and try to apply the above.
There's a downside to this (also mentioned in the gist), namely that your VRAM usage will increase, so caveat emptor.
The general forum is probably not the best place to post this, however given the amount of Unreal Engine titles out there, I couldn't think of a better option either.
