It lacks features and is still to unreliable. I'll wait until it's out of beta and then give it another try.

Not automatic updating by default is pain in the ass. There were reports about destroyed installations under certain circumstances, about uncompressed transfer over the network, about dysfunctional achievements, slow responses. I'm not sure they all still exists, but at least last time I tried to use it as a downloader it was more difficult than using the website directly.

So, currently it is not much of advantage.

It insists on writing large temp files to my SSD, even with caching set to another drive, with no way to redirect them. As long as it doesn't respect my system, my general assessment is "it's crap".

Once (if) they address this, then I'll give it a proper assessment.

Biggest issue: it's unable to detect about 75% of my installed GOG games, despite the fact that all of them are installed via gog-installers and located in the same folder... and this folder being selected when "scanning for games".

Big issue: clunky interface, without realy working "back" and "forward" buttons.

Small issue: aesthetics. Dull foggy gray is all you can offer, GoG? Really?

Biggest advantage: easier patching (although it's still faaar from perfect) and easier game launching

Big advantage: well... none.

Bottom line: installed, but definetely not amused. If there will be alternative (even created by 3rd party), I'll uninstall it and switch to something different at the drop of a hat.
