Daedalus1138: Crusader No Remorse. My reaction? Bleh. It's fun enough, I guess, but the controls are seriously getting in the way of my enjoying it.
I felt that way already back in the 90s when I played it the first (and so far only) time. The inaccurate controls were definitely its lowest point, but then since I had survived controls in games like Ultima Underworld 1-2 and System Shock, I survived the C: NR controls as well, and finished the game. I've yet to play the sequel, No Regret. I found the first game ok (despite its controls), but not good enough to rush to the sequel.
Still playing Baldur's Gate 2. Just completed Watcher's Keep (during the base game, not yet in the expansion pack Throne of Baal). Next step is to go after that vampire lady in the graveyard, with my buddies I've recruited along the way (the non-party members, like Drizzzt, people from the temple or whatever).
Which reminds me, I hate it when a party member leaves me even temporarily, as then I have pile of their stuff on the ground that I can't put in my already full inventory. I really wish quest items would always disappear when a quest is completed, as now I have lots of items, scrolls and stuff in my inventory that I think I don't need anymore... but I am not fully sure. I guess I just need to put them down to some cupboard.
Oh, also increasingly playing GTA San Andreas, after playing it only occasionally. I think I have around 60% or so of the story missions completed, after seeing the number of missions on some walkthrough. I must say I am increasingly liking the game more as I progress, the first third of the game was somehow boring to me. Somehow getting to the new areas where I drive much more off-road made it more interesting to me, compared to the earleir parts where I was just driving around the same parts of the urban city.
