Is it wrong to feel terribly overjoyed by the fact that my friend has managed to completely screw up his computer for using warez games & xp?

Since I am. so. overjoyed!

barjed: It's the 5th of September and Warsaw suddenly becomes paralyzed by the traffic jam from hell. It's like ever other John and Tom have just came back from their summer vacation. The number of cars in the city (which btw. still lacks ANY kind of ring road) increased by 100% at minimum.

So I drive for my very first job (I've started on September 1st!) and observe this driver's nightmare...

... on my motorcycle, going at a steady 60kmph between the cars screaming "hurr, durr" all the time. I reached my destination in 15 minutes while by car it would take over an hour.

I am a terrible person, I know :<
Ah, the joys of lane splitting. Too bad its illegal in Oregon otherwise I would do it.
The fact that I have test tommorow in school and I havent even start studying and I am rather on GoG reading forums :D
An unexpected bargain. Anybody who runs servers and is located near a Fry's store may be interested, too.

Needed a big hard disk for holding virtual machines, ISO images, things like that. Best deal Fry's had was on a boxed WD "Caviar Green" 1.5TB, so I got one. Opened it and noticed that the label proclaimed it to be, not a Caviar Green, but an RE4-GP. The BIOS and CentOS's hardware scanner confirmed it. That makes it an "enterprise" drive rated for RAID and 24/7 operation with a 5-year warranty, not the cheap consumer drive it was being sold as.

Knowing its my birthday in 3 hours..;o)

I may be getting on a bit (41 this time!!) - but to all those older people that say

'oh I dont celebrate my birthday any more, I'm too old for that'

I say 'Plplplplplplpplplplplplplplplplplplplplplplplp' (thats a raspberry) - and tomorrow night I'm going to drink beer and have a good time celebrating with friends and family..

I suppose I should wish you a happy birthday then. Or rather, I hope you had a good birthday so far, I guess it's 20 hours through by now.
Its Friday and Its Payday ;-)
The possibiilty that a $10 non prescription cream can do the job of an $80 prescription cream to control my eczema. Damn skin condition. At least it's not on my face. It's game over at that point.

Yes, I know this is an old thread, and I may get some flak for digging it up. No matter, people need to be reminded that there are things to be happy about.

I'm happy today because I just got to order a Raspberry Pi. I do hope it arrives before I leave for vacation (it says "within six weeks", and I leave in about 5.5 weeks).

You have this other thread that is much more recent:

I hope the angry mob will not reach you. ;)

EDIT: By the way, what is a Raspberry Pi? Not kidding! I looked at the link you provide, but still don't get it.
EDIT2: Forget the question, I've researched it on my own. Enjoy your Raspberry Pi!

My new bike is finally on its way, expecting to receive it in the beginning of next week. Yeay! It's been unbelievably boring having to walk everywhere for several weeks now.
