Wow, that's a nice surprise eh! I would have assumed you'd have played it already but if not you're in for an amazing journey. :)

It was a wonderful surprise, and shocking. I played 10 mins of the xbox 1 version, but we missed our pcs too much and sold the xbox, wasn't well yada yada yada - had never bought it on pc. Started playing witcher again, will then play w2 (as I have only played it once) and then I was going to buy W3. I am still stunned to be honest, and I admit to watching it download lol.

I found my second grey pube today, I'm going to be a Witcher.

Well, judging by your long time Avatar and forum status, if you're anything like me - installing and starting the game up will be a very emotional and highly satisfying experience. No game has ever had even 1/4 of the effect on me. It literally changed my gaming world much like the movie The Matrix did for movies when it came out. Just one of those "this is how it's done now folks" kind of experiences. :)

Once you get the game going though, beware as you're going to dedicate your life to it for 2-3 or more months depending on how many hours you have to allocate to gaming. :) I did the base game as a completionist in 350 hours taking my time to enjoy the sights along the way rather than rushing it. They said the expansions were 10 hours and 20 hours respectively originally, but now I see they've updated the marketing materials to say they are 10 hours and 30 hours, so that's 40 hours more altogether. For me that will probably end up being 100 hours.

One big freaking awesome game, that's for sure. You'll love it. :)

Just was able to install a Vulkan driver on my desktop (which has only integrated graphics). It works well enough for it to successfully run the "vulkaninfo" program; I haven't actually tried running a program that actually attempts to use Vulkan to display graphics.

Edit: Why is this post "low rated"? It really makes me angry when this happens to posts that do not deserve it, like this one. Could someone please explain?

I read a book today, so tomorrow I can review it ("The Assistants" by Camille Perri).

Just feel exited and happy Today for no reason. :D
