1sealion: I see that but I think blossom tales requires 2 gb ram and that computer another blogger just sent for 350 only has 4 gb ram out of box ! Also I just tried a cheap 3 dollar game called shipwreck from steam and even that wouldn’t load !!! The computer guy t work advises on a hp omen at Walmart for 800
If he meant this one ($750) then it's not bad for the money. You'd be able to play any game with that graphics card.

You're right. I somehow missed that. The Omen looks good for it's price and it is a gaming computer.
IF your going to invest in a NEW system go do some hardcore investigation, look at top of the line systems, mid systems and bare bones systems, there will always be that brand new game just released your going to want to try lets say your facinated with Biomutant: Biomutant
System requirements

Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 / 8 / 10 (64-bit)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-750 or 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom™ II X4 955
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: 2 GB Direct3D 11 capable video card (GeForce GTX 780 or Radeon R280)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 10 GB available space
Additional Notes: These are preliminary system specs that can and will change!

obviously a system like this will be able to run any older games out there.
my advice would be go as top of the line as you can, it will stay an active computer for longer, making your investment a better one.
Hey so I've got a MacBook Air 1.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i3 and can barely play any games....love PC games but don't really understand what I'm doing am I right in thinking I'd need something with a higher GHz? or is the a way round this? I only really want to play old 90's PC games like age of empires and dungeon keeper :(

What is the Operating System version of your McBook?

Apple dropped 32bit support on last version, so most games won't work out of the box. Somone who actually know more can help you further in how to circunvent this issue.

You can make a thread of your own, no need to bring back death threads.
