It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

chandra: FYI, we currently have a 48h giveaway for Full Throttle!

Maybe those of you that are not entirely sure about it can give it a try now :)

TrueDosGamer: I've been trying to add this freebie for the past hour.

It keeps showing three dots left to right on the Main Gog page
Clicking it does nothing. Anyone else able to add this freebie right now?
Or did GOG disable this freebie due to too many downloads?

Clicking the Game Page cart it can be added for $14.99 so something's up.
Have you tried clearing your cache and cookie files? I would also suggest to double-check your preferred browser is updated to its latest version (or try in incognito mode).
If the above does not work, I would suggest writing to our Support.

And no, we did not disable the giveaway :)

zeogold: If you can't figure out a way to get it to work, there's a copy at the Community Giveaway you can have if you come ask for it and allow me to access your chat.

Thanks I found another thread discussion that had the same problem I was experiencing. The solution for me was to use Opera browser which then showed the Countdown Timer instead of the three dots. I was able to add the give away instantly. I was earlier using FireFox v52.9 and very up to date already so that I found strange it should have this issue.

I'm wondering if they could make giveaways freely given to long time GOG users as automatic then needing to claim them on the main GOG page. I can see how this is more useful for luring new GOG users but old timers who have bought and purchased games before should get some automatic freebies without going through that hurdle.

I actually missed out on getting the sequel SW2 for the 10th Anniversary of all giveaways. From what I've read it happened just recently. So I didn't get the Shadow Warrior 2 added which would have been nice freebie.

Opera browser fixed the issue. Tried incognito mode on FireFox but that didn't work either.

Heh... Well that's good to know the giveaways never get cancelled. ;) I wish I could go back 2 months and snag the other one I missed. I actually have Full Throttle on the original CD media boxed release.

But missing Shadow Warrior 2 of all games for free? (face palm).

The thing that hooked me was the music - The Gone Jackals have a great sound.
Even now, just hearing that opening riff makes me smile. There're few things that feel more awesome than jumping into the car on a sunny day, queuing up that sound track and going for a hoon!

I also quite liked the setting; I was into Fallout back then and that vague post-apocalyptic-but-not-really vibe was just right.

I will say the remaster isn't great; Unless they've patched it since I last played it, the game has numerous issues with the engine - The graphics, and especially the remade music is incredible and, for me, worth the price of entry alone, but the engine is buggy as heck with bad timing issues like extended black screens, and scenes being cut off too early, av de-syncs etc. Feels like a really lazy port.

The rest of the game is still fun; Some of the puzzles have a bit more moon-logic and pixel hunting to them than I'd like, (The kicking puzzle and the roller door puzzle for instance), but some are just genius (Fuel! Bunnies! Plane!)

The characters feel good and have distinct personalities without trying to be overly complicated, and the voice acting is top notch. Conrad, Soucie and Hamill do exemplary work.

It's not the best point'n'click around - It's quote short and a lot simplified than earlier ones - a sign of the times as people are more impatient and not so good at thinking for themselves I've felt - but it has a great feel to it and is worth a play for anyone into the genre.

And that's ladies and gentelmen was "Lucas Arts fan", who thinks that all people who enjoyed Lucas Arts adventure games are the same...
