pimpmonkey2382.313: It's pretty much happening already, the DRM free humble neo geo set, are just zipped roms with their own emulator. I carried some over to final burn and using them there. So there's a precedent for it already.

Katzapult: Well, THAT sounds quite awesome. :)
You would need a different bios for final burn, but I hear you can get them going on win kawaks with the provided bios files.

Are theses only zipped roms in one of the games´ folders or is there any kind of trick involved to get them out of the whole package? If there is a trick involved it still isn´t legal in my country. :-S

Just copy and paste, just normal roms, same ones you would see on rom sites.

Everywhere on gog you can read something like "at least these ports are better than the ones on humble store" but it seems that the opposite is the truth. xD

Make sure you're getting the DRM free ones, that you download off the humble site. Not the steam keys, which are basically same as these gog ones I hear. Only the ones you download straight from your humble library.

I just read that the roms in the snk-games on gog are unencrypted too! That definately makes them more valuable.

Yep they're just the same as on any other rom site, except legal.
Not big on emulation, but I'd like to see sega one day drop remasters of sega classics from the saturn. Theres a lot of genesis collection games, dreamcast has seen some games re-released, saturn had horrible time outside japan, and a burning rangers sequal or something like it would be cool.

Amazing, that one guy hacked such an overengineered console as a one man army whereas sega never considered ports in 20 years. Also, perhaps OG xbox games on PC, not emulated but re-released? Studios came and gone, but theres a lot of hidden gems from early 2000s, jetset radio future for example.

I think there's hope before 2025 we'll see a lot of those games come back on PC, locks quest was orginally a DS game, this week we got neo geo, New vegas and fallout 3 went DLC free. Bayonetta got released on steam. It's out there, just a matter of patience.

So no difference from the ones on humble store? Hmm... humble has more titles, but then I have to make another account. The prices on both sites are quite identical. Not an easy descission...
