Oh, how come I haven't told this one already. Again, i am pretty sure I am not the first one figuring out the similarity of these two words/phrases, but anyways.
About 10 years ago when I was in Thailand, I hurt my right hand a bit when I fell down with a bike (at a low speed on a dirt road, luckily). The local doctor disinfected my hand (some bruises) and put a wrap around it.
When I got back to my hotel, the receptionist noticed my wrapped hand so I decided to joke a little:
- Sir, what happened to your hand?
- Oh, this? A tiger attacked and bit me.
- A tiger?
- No, a thai girl. They can be vicious if angered.
At least I got a good laugh out of that. Not sure if the receptionist did, he remained puzzled.
