Save up to 80% on 600+ games as we reprise our first week's 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sales!

Whatever your location and beliefs might be, the Winter Solstice and the time around it is usually a time of celebration. And if you are a gamer, there's even more reason to celebrate! It's the time of year when the prices of the games you've been eyeing for the whole year drop magically (or scientifically, if you prefer, or maybe miraculously even), making all those fantastic titles so much more affordable. It's like a festive game-shopping spree, that happens around the time of the Solstice. It's like--like--Festivmas! Yes, a gaming [url=http://www.gog.com/xmas13]2013 Solstice Festivmas! A name as good as any other, because what's important it's the celebration itself. Today, on GOG.com we offer you dozens of special deals, simultanously! We realize that our server-hiccup prevented some of you from picking up their favorites in the first hours of the our promotion. Once again, we're very sorry about that. That's even more reason to make all the offers and bundles featured in the first week of GOG.com 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale, and more, available for 24 hours for your convenience.

That's not all! FREE GAMES! Do we have your attention? We know that a lot of you wanted to see what the three special deals were for you each day, and didn't like that you didn't have more idea what you're picking. So we've changed our daily deals so now you can see what's games you can pick from, with the element of surprise limited to the amount of discount you'll be getting. It might by 100%, by the way, as we're adding in a bunch of free games to our daily surprises, so be sure to check them out in case there's a free game waiting for you just a click away!

This special mid-sale discount-fest, or 2013 Solstice Festivmas if you will, lasts until Thursday, December 19, at 1:59PM GMT. We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases are now covered with our Worldwide 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, so this should be the safest on-line shopping spree you'll ever go on!

Ghorpm: Fixed that for you :) Deals on the right sides are not "everything-or-nothing" type. You can always buy individual games with a higher discount from them :)
avatar
IAmSinistar: Ah, so I should remove those four? Ta, will do.
Nooooooooooo! You should only leave those four. My bad, I wrote right but I meant left. Damn, stupid mistake.

JMich: Right side or left side? And is the right side the right side or the left side the right side? And the side that's left is the left side or the right side?
You are absolutely left about it! My bad!

Thanks, I sussed it out eventually as well. :) I've got the correct list up now, cheers!

Nae worries. I actually have the neurological condition Left-Right Confusion (confusingly also called Right-Left Confusion). I almost always say the opposite of the correct answer, even when in my head I'm thinking the proper one. It's pretty damn annoying, especially when I'm trying to give someone driving directions. Though clearly some of my fellow sufferers work for the GPS industry. ;)

Yeah, I know a lot of people with this problem :) But my mistake was an entire different story: At the beginning I wanted to write that only right side bundles are "all-or-nothing" but then I realized it would perhaps be better to emphasize that you can pick any individual games from deals from the left so I changed the second half of my sentence but I forgot to change one little word from the first half.

Licurg: YOU GIBZ ME FREE GAMEZ !!!
MEBY... HOPFULY...
How do I purchase multiple bundles at 1 time so I only have to run my card once? (I would like to complete the Roguelikelike Bundlelike for $11.97 & the Deep in the Dungeons bundle for $4.49 in one $16.46 transaction.) How do I effect that?...
avatar
Sashh: Just a nitpick: I don't understand what is going on with those Shadow Warrior promos
I'm getting 33% = $26.99 on my front page now so it looks like this is now fixed...

Add the games to your cart, then proceed to checkout. Best bet would be to open the bundle page, then open each game you don't own to a new tab, then add that to the cart. Discounts should be applied properly.

It seems that the variance can be as little as 1% from the current sales price. I just got a 51% off on Amnesia's retail price which is already 50% off.

Edit: Nope, you can get the same discount as current. Should have read through the thread first...

That's a bit odd to say the least.
Gave in and bought the remaining Bullfrog games.

Sigh

That worked, thank you very much for the advice.
Finally! Achievement 400+ unlocked :D
Ahh too many promos and fixed bundles, I'm undecided..

Turn-based 4X Classics --> MOO1&2+AC+FA = $9 vs 11$
Tales of Might and Magic --> I only want M&M4-5 in the sixpack, but it's still a bit high
Collected Bullfrog Classics --> bought :)
Dungeons and Dragons Desire --> bought , but on GG the main ones cost about half :\
Ultraviolence Uberpack --> I only want HM+B1
Deep in the Dungeons --> nice, but LG is still a bit high

Maybe a single order like this is better:
Gobliiins pack $1.49
Pandemonium! $1.99
SimCity 2000™ $1.79
Rise of the Triad: Dark War $1.99
Ultima® Underworld 1+2 $1.99
Hotline Miami $2.49
Blood $2.99
-------------------------
total: $14.73

Should I maybe add the other $2.99 titles (MOO1&2+AC+FA + M&M1-6 + LG) now or wait for some other promo?
