Only to say I feel the same. Reviews are a mixture of good and lacklustre. Nothing's really pushing me into buying, but I'm still wondering. That's probably the most useless 'help' you'll get this sale ;-)

It's very much in the style of the Battle Isle games, as you would expect (or at least) hope from a successor game. Hex-based warfare that relies on a good deal of strategy and tactics, as well as resource and unit maintenance. Great if you like a wargame that is more about thought than force.

EDIT: Incidentally, if you don't already have the Battle Isle game pack, grab it when it next comes around as a Flash Deal. The originals are quite good, and the value unbeatable. Plus they will give you a better inkling as to whether you would like Kronos.

That's no worse than my yay or nay depending on "it had a good vibe so I bought it along with gods know how many other things". =)

Got Battle Isle yesterday, actually. And since I'd been waiting for a chance to grab that, if it's similar to a great degree then it should work as well. Okay, thank you for the info. =)

In other news. I find myself inured to the siren's call of today's bundles. It's not that my will is strong, I just bought a game because of pretty backgrounds. It's just that they're all mostly "meh" to me.

Alsto Trine 2 is sheer scenery porn of the messy orgasm kind. The pure unadulterated beauty and detailwork of every scene shown through your monitor, makes you feel as if the game is bukkake'ing right all over your face every single screen.

I'm thinking, if that game came with a rifftrax it's value would rise astronomically.
