Edit solved by iphgix well done!

I have a wonderful copy of Children of the Nile to the one who can solve this little puzzle.
This puzzle will yield a phrase. first to pm me the phrase gets the game.

O/1/6/5
O/2/6/5
O/1/5/5
O/1/3/1
O/1/1/4
O/2/1/5

"qdfnnkyqcoy"

Info for all my Puzzles:
1. You may have to leave gog for some of my puzzles but you will have some way of knowing where to go.
2. All of my puzzles are made with internet explorer
3. there will be a fair amount of hints but I will do my best to make them a bit of a
puzzle themselves

Good Luck and have fun :)

Hints:
Hint 1: I wonder if the great Caesar visited the pyramids of Giza
Hint 2: to find the ankh is but the beginning of this great effort. (realized this may be confusing for some people by ankh I meant key. I was just trying to give the puzzle a more Egyptian feel)
hint 3: look through gog for the key
hint 4: a b c d
...........b c d e
...........c d e f
...........d e f g
hint 5: For the shift the when is less important then it would first seem, but remember you must move backwards to find the way to the prize
hint 6: "qdfnnkyqcoy" Is using two ciphers to remain obscure. These ciphers are in a way related to each other.
hint 7: O/1/6/5 = s
hint 8: as for the two ciphers guarding "qdfnnkyqcoy" one is named after a French man and the other is named after a roman
hint 9: in "qdfnnkyqcoy" d=a

Thanks for the puzzle, coxdr.

The O part is pretty straightforward, and worked out on both Firefox and IE for me. I admit I have no idea where to apply the shift. I may be able to bash away at it tonight, though.

I'm not in but I thought I might try and provide a clue for those interested.

So is the algorithm for the code based in mathematics. Have fun.

No, at least math is not required though the solution for part of the puzzle could be found mathematically if a person desired.
