Chrono Trigger. Should be around 10$.
WazHack
The Pinball Arcade is awesome if you like pinball.
Game Dev Story by Kairosoft is pretty freaking addictive.
AppSales and buy worthy stuff on sales for a cheap price. For example, ezPDF, Bloons TD 5, Defense Zone 2 HD are on on sale now for $0.99-1.99.
If you are stuck with Android like me, here are the few better available options for gaming -- they all have at least 4 out of 5 user ratings:

Anomaly Warzone Earth HD and Anomaly Korea
(I hate tower defense games; but this is a reverse tower defense.)

Battle for Wesnoth
(The is an old trailer from two years ago. The game receives frequent updates, and the latest graphics are improved. The iOS version is better, but the PC version is the best... and free.)

Battleheart

Broken Sword: Director's Cut and Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror

Devil's Attorney
(This is actually an RPG, a very unique RPG)

Elder Sign: Omens

Game Dev Story, Dungeon Village, and other Kairosoft games
(They are the same game in different settings; but if you love one, you'll love them all.)

Knights of Pen & Paper

and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUJfGRlhZpQ]Majesty: Northern Expansion

Rebuild
(It's really Rebuild 2, but retitled as just Rebuild on Android, as the first game is not available for Android.)

Samurai II: Vengeance

The Bard's Tale

Total War Battles

I left out ad-supported games without a paid ad-free version, puzzle-based casual games, freemiums, JRPGs, MMOs, and tower defenses. Either I hate them, or they are too many to be listed.

Anyway.

After having used Android phones for almost two years, I can say this with absolute certainty: iOS has more and better games than Android.

In addition, iOS has plenty of exclusive games -- good, solid exclusive titles -- that are NOT available on Android. On the other hand, almost all good games you can find on Android are also available on iOS, and the iOS versions are often better implemented (like Battle for Wesnoth, Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan) and/or have more features, more contents (Battleheart, Settlers of Catan.)

(Pretty sure all the Android fanboys and iPhone haters are now going to rate down this post.)

More irritatingly, Android is being plagued with "freemium" games with nickle-and-dime in-game transactions. I avoid those games altogether, so I did not recommend any freemium games. Unfortunately, the majority of Android games are nickle-and-dime shits, and that further narrow down the already-limited choices of games.

Time to get a real games machine then?.
Read in a few places the Apple store does have a lot of games.... just a lot of them are pretty shit (and fillers to pad out the store). ;)

Yeah would have preferred an iOS for better variety of apps but Android is a hell of a lot cheaper, least my phone has the newest android so I have more to choose from.

Good list: First list that has some "hardcore" games rather than time fillers for a short while.

Obviously if I'm here, that means I have and use a PC for gaming.

iOS just have MORE games than Android, a whole lot more, period. It has more shitty games, and it has more good games as well. Just more of everything.
