Good morning/afternoon/evening/whatever to everyone!

I was going to make a boring "Required by Law" giveaway for the upcoming 3 stars, till I saw this. Obviously, this happening on June, the 6th month of the year, is totally a sign, so I decided to adjust the giveaway accordingly.

Are you evil? Do you like choosing the evil side in videogames, laughing maniacally over the cries and screams of the butchered innocents or twirling your mustache when one of your evil plans comes into fruition? What is the videogame that does the best job at bringing out the dark side in you? Do you always choose the evil side for your 1st playthrough? Or, do you happen to be one of those do-gooders who spoil the fun for everyone? Don't worry, it's not too late to join the dark side! Answer any of these questions in detail (or not, you mischievous fiend!) and 2 of you will receive the blessings of the Dark Goddess (along with a $5.99 game of your choice).

But before you enter, you must also agree to the following rules. Failure to comply will elicit the wrath of the Dark Goddess:

1) Mention if you are in or not.
2) Have Rep 10+ or Join Date 2013 or earlier.
3) You can enter only for yourself and you must also redeem the game for yourself.

The dark blessing will commence during next Monday/Tuesday. May the most worthy win!

Edit: Courtesy of Landeril, there is also a copy of Darkstone to be gifted as a runner-up. If you are interested in it, make sure to mention it in your posts and to thank Landeril for his generosity.

The Dark Goddess has spoken and her two new champions have been chosen! They are:

In addition, Landeril's dark gift has chosen its new home:

Daynov: I'm in for Darkstone!
Congratulations to you too, Daynov!

As for the rest of you, thank you for your stories and do not be disappointed! The Dark Goddess is always searching for new blood and she will be back one day! Mark my words.

I'm not in but since you brought it up I'd like to mention that my mother was a witch, she was burned alive. Thankless little bitch, for the tears I cried. Take her down now, don't want to see her face. All blistered and burnt, can't hide my disgrace.

But I digress.
In & +1! Thank you! :D

hmm,I always choose the good guys over the evil guys,

I don't like evil at all,and especially since it became trendy and it almost lost it's meaning (evil=cool, hence being evil is good. blergh, hate that.)

Although in DnD based games the alighment I lately choose is chaotic neutral,or neutral good. I think,it expresses me most,unfortunately.. I remember being a kid and always picking paladins, but the real world is not a place for a paladin. Which means,I think I take videogame character creation way more seriously than I should :P
As much as I would love to be evil, it's clear to me that I just don't have it in me! I played through Monster Loves You four times trying to get one of the "evil" endings only to fail miserably each time and ending with the same "good monster" ending each and every single time! I just could not bring myself to be bad ;-p

Years ago, I recall a similar situation with Black & White - no matter what evil things I picked, in the end I always found myself on the side of the light...

Advance congratulations on becoming a 3 ★ Goglodyte! And for the weirdly auspicious number ;-D

I'm not usually in for these GA's but GOG just brought The Labyrinth of Time here and of course it got immediately wish-listed - what a great classic puzzle game!
Not in, but thanks to the charismatic cat! Let me help you to 3 stars. (+1)

I usually choose the good guys, however my favorite way of showing my dark side in video games is thieving, and that's where Thief GOLD shines for me; sneaking into a castle or mansion and making someone's valuables my own, right from under the owners' noses.
In !

Sacrifice, especially when I play with Pyro . The very first mission you do for him is kidnap baby trolls, whom he then brainwashes and uses as warriors :D Yummy !

I always prefer to play the "bad" side in any game, it's just more fun being sadistic .
I am in!

I'm afraid I am also one of those who usually chooses to be a Good Guy by preference. When playing games which allow varying choices, I almost invariably choose to be honest/helpful. I just find it the most fun. I do enjoy games where you can be bad however, my favourite games for the PS2 were the GTA series and Hitman series (in the latter I always tried to only kill my target though, no collateral kills).

Thank you for the giveaway Grargar :)!

(EDIT: Not in for Darkstone, but thank you to Landeril nevertheless for adding to the awesomeness :)

I'm in, thanks.

Really depends on the game but usually i stay in the middle where i can. Not too good, not too evil.

On a sidenote some would call using steam having joined the dark side. :p

Of course I am not evil. What ever side I pick, is the good one, even if some dangerous elements of society call it dark.

Thanks for the giveaway, I am in, and not evil.
I'm in, and like Momo, I just can't bring myself to be evil. In The Walking Dead (Season 1) I wanted to see the outcome of the... er... less than nice choices, and I just couldn't do it, so I watched it on Youtube! lol~
Not in, but thanks.

And yes, I'm eeeeeeevil. :p

Licurg: ...... it's just more fun being sadistic .
Probably why games like Carmageddon are big hits, lol
Usually, when such a choice is allowed, in videogames I'm a Lawful Neutral type. Who cares about morals: the true professional always get the job done, no matter what. Stick to your code, and you'll do just fine! No moral dilemmas, no distraction. Just you and the target, being it a precious item, an unfortunate monster or a vicious corporate CEO.
More often than not, I end up working for the "good" side, not much for romantic ideals but because usually good=order=secure pay, without the risk of being backstabbed for knowing too much. Anyway, a contract is always a contract, never mind if signed from Ghandi or Sauron!
Precision is important though: as Garrett says, violence is the mark of the amateur. Better being a shadow and avoid all kind of contacts - the less you interact with the environment, the less likely will be for others to find proof of your deeds. In the end, no one gets hurt, no one is discovered, and everyone gains something. Well, except the victim. No hard feelings!

I'm a renowed master in stealth, efficiency and neutrality: all the Thief series ghosted, all the Hitman one with Silent Assassin, being known only by name in Splinter Cell, staying true to the Witcher path during the battle in Vizima, never failing a mission in Fallout and so on... good and evil are so clichèd! ;)

Edit: not in, but thanks!

Not in, but thanks for the giveaway.

I tend to play the evil side in a second play of the games that allow it.
And in general, I enjoy being a little sneaky-evil. My favorite class is assasin. Nothing like a little poison to remove an enemy.
Please count me in!

I've been playing Baldur's Gate series a lot recently. I make evil characters, recruit evil NPCs, and still I have trouble being the biggest arsehole in the land. Before I realise it, my party is complaining that they're too good and I reluctantly proceed to kill an innocent bystander to appease them. Then I take a long shower while I lie on the tiles in the fetal position and cry.
