Classic games from the 70's and 80's are being put online. Go to https://archive.org/details/consolelivingroom

No sound yet but it's coming soon!
Previous thread about archive.org got a comment about the Console Living Room too.
Crap I missed that. Thanks!
Nah. I know there are good Atari games like Space Invader and Asteroids and Pitfall and its version of Donkey Kong. But Atari 2600 are way too old fashioned for me. NES/SNES and Sega Genesis/Master System all the way for me.

Heck I would rather even play older DOS games like Wizardry 1 over anything Atari 2600 has.
I mention it all the time but that Activision Anthology I have is pretty good.

Well okay 90% of the games on there suck but the good ones on there like the Pitfalls are worth the price.

I agree, my favourites are: Pitfall, Pitfall2, Freeway, Starmaster, Pressure Cooker, and HERO. Many others are OK too (especially for a bit of nostalgia), I find only about half of the games unplayable.
I enjoyed playing games on those systems.
But i wouldn't play them again. Its like old pc/C64/Amiga games.
They are better left in memory.

You forgot River Raid and I myself have always been a Keystone Kops junkie. A friend of mine had that in grade school and I used to bug the piss out of him wanting to play it.
Ooh look donkey kong (jr). I've never played oddly enough. Time to see what the fuss is about...
I wouldn't mind a shot at the Swordquest series if it's available. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swordquest
BC's quest for tires.... that was my jam before I stepped my game up to SNES... twas an epic jump, I know.
Pardon the 18 hour necro, but am I the only one who can't get this working? At first I didn't care but then I saw they had the original Spider-Man and now I'm dying to play it.

Firefox didn't work for me, switched to Chrome and it worked.
