gameon: Newcastle deserve to be in the champions league spot. It would be unfair on them having to settle for europa league, if they finished 4th!
While there are a few minor challenges on the road to fourth (Chelsea and Man City), it really would suck. It's all Liverpool's fault, if they hadn't set this silly precedent, the situation would be decided this time instead.

Anyway, here's to Chelsea losing the final!

They won't have a chance if Madrid beats Munich anyway, and Madrid will probably do that.

You think? Didn't everyone say that about Barca v Chelsea? Even with a 1 goal advantage on aggregate.

Arsenal, Newcastle and even Spurs fans should be worried about this news. 4th place might mean nothing for them if Chelsea win the cup but fail to qualify inside top 4 in the league. Alan Pardew might choke his own liquor as he said.
