Now when the amazing botanicula has finally arrived and we all got to play it for some hours, the time has come to choose the best game amanita has to offer! so what do you think; can botanicula beat machinarium? Why? WHy not? and in what ways? or is even the legendary samorost series taking the lead? and what do u think and want from the thiord game now in progress? Spamalot!

I haven't finished neither Machinarium nor Botanicula yet, but my impression is that Machinarium has the most consistent and IMO most charming art style and more interesting story and characters, but Botanicula is a little easier and more accessible because it leaves more room for exploration, offering several puzzles at once so you don't get stuck as quickly as in the more linear Machinarium. The music, setting and story-telling is wonderful in both. I also like Samorost and Samorost 2 but in terms of artistic consistency, professional looks and gamelength I think the more recent games are superior to them.
