01kipper: I am in.

I'm sure I'm not unique in this, but I love character creation in RPGs. I will spend hours and hours looking over all the options, even pre-planning what I would like on paper (based on the manual or previous experience) before I even launch the game! This especially applies to 'old favourites', I'll often pre-plan new builds I haven't tried before.

Thanks Charon121!
Heh, I'm exactly the same. Many hours, even several days may pass between installing the game and loading the first map. First I'll study a good strategy guide to learn the strengths and weaknesses of each class and which ones are actually useful in the game, then I'll spend hours mulling over attribute/skill point distribution.

When Baldur's Gate 2 was new, I spent boring classes at school planning my party composition on paper just like you do, choosing which companions I'd recruit in the course of my adventure based on the class I'd pick for that particular playthrough, so that I have the optimal party composition. I even made a list of what key pieces of equipment I'll encounter for my particular class in which part of the game.

Then I learned about Wizardry 8, and that took my party planning to a whole new level. :D

Not in, but nice giveaway.

In WoW I loved to farm. Be it for mats or pets, I loved it. I would kill the same group of creatures over and over again just for the 1/10000 chance a rare pet would drop. I kept my guild stocked in everything. Then I would take all the things and sell them on the AH, and that was fun for me too. God, now that I think about it, what was wrong with me, I paid them to let me do that. LOL.
Nice giveaway!

I'm in with 2 hands :)

As for the second part of the task I'm pretty used to good grinding (Diablo back in the day, Demon's souls, hell, even the Witcher) just because I really like to buff my characters and at some point it becomes obsessive and I do it just because, even though I'm as powerful as I need to proceed. I actually was mad at myself that I didn't play The Witcher on the hardest difficulty, but on normal, because in the end I was a walking Armageddon. No one stood a chance and that made the experience a little bit less epic than it should have been. But I like a good grinding when it's for the right reasons and the results are satisfying.

Hmm boring..does throwing objects against doors for ages in Dungeon Master to get ninja levels count?
Not in, but many thanks.

Papers please is my favourite indie game.
I'm in, thanks!

Hmm, what I could think of is the Reaper Mini-game in ME3, which you always play when you navigate the solar systems. I don't really hate it - at least not as much as the probing in ME2 :D

Remember that Triple Triad game from FF8? I think many considered it boring, but I thought it was fun and the music was really good!

I almost always love fishing in RPG games like Zelda and whatnot. Not as god as the "reel" thing, but still :)
(See what I did there?)
I'm in thank you .

I enjoyed Chaser .
Thanks, Charon121, what a great game to give away. The title that brought me to GOG.
Not in, good luck to all entering!

Lol, I threw a lot of items around in DM too, but for stashing them in one place or for marking the correct path to each exit!
Swords and long shields were just perfect for that task and my levels went up without me even noticing.

I am in, thanks. There is a web game called Ginormo Sword, which involves copious amounts of grinding to level up your equipment, and fights with bosses and upgraded creature variants can take several minutes to complete. I have beaten this game, and defeated every rare variant of every creature. Twice.
A lot of people complained about the long and (to them) boring elevator rides in Mass Effect 1, but I so enjoyed the character conversations and galactic news updates that played during the elevator rides that I spent way too much time just riding up and down the elevators repeatedly. I realize that probably makes me "weird," but that's okay. Anyway, please count me in for the giveaway. Thank you. +1

Thanks. I'm in.
I obsessively break every single box in a dungeon even when I know for a fact that they don't have anything valuable in them.
