Box dreams;maybe I'm silly or childish in some sense, but I think one of the most important things about GOG is fulfilling my desires of obtaining the games I could never have but always longed to have due to wonderful box art.
Recently I've had quite a few of these box dreams satisfied.
Under a Killing Moon
Lords of Magic
Rise of Triad
I always saw them in the stores every week whilst shopping with my father, but I never had enough $$$ to get them, sure I had some great boxes like Heroes of Might and Magic 2, Crusader: No Remorse, and Rayman, but games like
Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance
&
Lords of the Realm 2
have yet to leave my mind, and so tomorrow I'll be quite a happy little childish 25 year guy when Lords of the Realm comes out!
Thanks GOG, keep it up and may I request that you get the 'back covers' for the game boxes so we can look at those(preferably with a zoom in feature).
Cheers,
Mikail.
Sometimes, it's the box art I remember. Didn't get to play a lot of these games when they were released. On the count of my only income being pocket money from my parents. But they sat there on the shelf tempting me. (Back when a games store HAD a decent PC section)
Mwahaha! I'm now an adult, and can solve this!

On box art, one of the early requests here that came up was getting the box art, so we could look at all of it, and the really determined people could print it all off and assemble. IIRC, there is not a decent chance of it happening, at least any time soon.
Be nice though, I could recreate those that got eaten by mold, or that I was forced to put in a bonfire at one point.
I would love to have more original box art made available here, in high resolution.
If there's some legal issues with the box art, I wonder if linking to places like mobygames on the gog gamecard would be okay, mg has a hell of a lot of box art that they PROBABLY don't have permission to use but who can say for sure?

I'm glad someone else shares the same sentiment.
Really I would love to see the full boxes on GOG and maybe even box art selection.
I know GOG has some great updates planned, as they have hinted and shown months ago.
Also concerning LOTR, I am a bit bothered that I can't have the LOTR 2 box art on my shelf, I don't care for the one given to us.
