Fever_Discordia: The Superpower Sims Bundle:

Some stuff I'd be interested in, in there but too much stuff I REALLY wouldn't be!
I just picked it up a short while ago. Mainly interested in the flight combat sims but decided I'll try to get into the racing/driving sims also as I've been sort of interested in the genre for a number of years but never tried it out.

Considering it as I have been curious on the Agriculture Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator. Some of the simulators have caught my eye as of late.

Can't speak about the first one but ETS2 is pretty entertaining.
This site still exists? I had completely forgotten about them.

Agriculture Simulator might actually be something I would play.

dr.zli: 1. make a throwaway fb account
2. make 10 more
3. use them for 10 invites
4. ??????
5. Profit!

although the quality of games doesn't warrant such hassle imho

Bundlestars, yes. I actually bought 7 different bundles from them this year since I discovered them. I've found that they seem to put out more bundles at a time and of greater quality of games than most other bundle sites. I kind of consider them the cream of the crop of bundle sites at the moment. Scored a lot of great games that's for sure. :)

A lot of repeats and Steam only.

Perhaps, but all the stuff I picked up was things I didn't have so I don't think I ended up with any dupes. The more someone is around and the more bundles they accumulate etc. though I imagine they'll start hitting that problem. I have noticed some bundles out there with dupes of things I have already like Tropico series so my days with bundles might be limited. :)

Thats the problem. More and more games are being repeated in many bundles.....Oh well

I bought that Agricultural one from GamersGate back when it first came out. Had to get a refund as it was unplayable. The game doesn't like certain screen resolutions and if you're stuck with such a resolution (such as 1280 x 1024) the game cannot be played (the on screen text is cut off, etc.).

Of course as only one game in this cheap bundle, it may be worth the risk. But if you're only interested in a couple of the games, you may simply want to wait for the Steam winter sale and just get the better similar titles.

Euro Truck Sim 1 is very poor in comparison to ETS2. It lacks certain basic features that ETS2 has (a decent map, with the ability to see both mirrors on screen at once, for example).

And Farming Simulator 2013 will provide you with the same experience as Agricultural Sim, but from a company who's products aren't as bug prone.

Never understood the fascination with those kind of sims. Whats ETS2 like?

Brilliant. Why not try the demo?

Ultimately for me the fascination is doing something I may not have thought about trying and just seeing from a different perspective. For instance the truck simulators fascinate me as I was driving doing deliveries at local level and would be nice to experience something more then that specific task. Oh well, perhaps I think too much and read too much into things.

Do you know if it supports 2560x1600, or at least 1920x1200? I was thinking of trying it out but if it isn't going to work on my hardware adequately I'll probably just use it in a trade or giveaway.

ETS supports the NaturalPoint TrackIR apparently, but it looks like ETS2 doesn't. So with a TrackIR one probably can view both mirrors I'm guessing. I've got both here so I can investigate some time. I wonder if ETS2 supports the TrackIR but is just missing from NaturalPoint's support page. Does anyone who has ETS2 have a TrackIR that could confirm/deny?
