I received a coupon for a choice of a free game in the latest PC Power Play magazine in Australia.
When I select the game and enter the coupon number I am told the coupon has expired.
Is tere anything I can do to redeem the coupon. The magazine does not offer any support it seems as it does not answer any emails I have sent.
Cheers
You should contact GOG support directly, instead of using the forums. Unfortunately, they do not (usually) work weekends, so you will probably have to wait until at least Monday for an answer.
It would tell you if the code was wrong, if it's expired... then it's expired. Is it the latest issue of the mag?
This seems a bit strange, as if this coupon was in a public magazine, then its only one code and the first person to redeem it would have used it up.
Its critical for us to know if the coupon was private or not. For example, if the code came with the magazine, was it in a sealed and covered envelope? Did you have to have the code emailed/sent to you in some way?
As Vagabond says, it tells you if the code has been redeemed already, but GOG codes apparently never expire, we're actually consistently reminded that the codes handed out do not 'expire'.

The coupon should not have expired as it is a July Magazine. I was hopeng that possibly someone else was having the same magazine issue and may have seen tis post, who may have had the problem resolved.
I will contact their support

The code was sealed inside a plastic box with a CD. The code is on the backside of the CD cover so you have to take it out and remove the cover to see it. The magazine is also sealed inside a shrinked sealed plastic bag so I doubt anyone else got the code.
It is xxx-xxxxx format. My bet is the magazine did not setup the codes correctly, but they do not take phone calls or respond to emails. No big deal as it was a freeby, but I would get the game if possible. And we only get the choice of three games. Possibly the gave us the wrong game names as well.

OK All is well now. I could not get the code to be recognised by Jaged Alliance 2 so I decided to go for LionHeart instead and the code was accepted.
Downloading now.
I am gong to have to get an new ISP account with a bigger download limit I think as there are a few titles I would like to get. Some of the space games look good but are very big downloads for me.
Also looks like a nice freindly forum as well.

This actually explains those 2 games in the top ten list recently.
I guess people couldn't get Jagged Alliance 2 (not only you) and that's why this particular game didn't reach the top ten list.
Are you sure the game you're trying to get is Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business (a standalone expansion)...and not Jagged Alliance 2 itself?
