So I have been looking for a game now that I can't remember the name. I played a demo when I was a kid.

It was set in a fantasy world. Turn-based, it was something like Heroes of M&M. What I remember: when you conquered a town/fortress, you had the option to take it over, ransack it or burn it down (?).

Any tips?

If it was between '98 - '03 it's either Warlords 4 or any of the AOW games.

It is Warlords 3, so I was maybe a little off in the time span. I had something with Warlords in mind, but when looking at Warlords Battlecry, it was not it.
