No but this CISPA thing seems eerily familiar hence the reason I mentioned the DMCA.

Maybe the US Congress isn't in Germany but the US Army is, IIRC.

I see, nobody cares about the capitalism taking away their liberty, reading their e-mails and conspiring against them.
Well, we've had email reading and internet censorship laws in Finland for a while. I've already thrown up my hands and proclaimed that it's all messed up now. That's a legally binding act of extreme frustration and not caring anymore, so I couldn't go all activist even if there was a need :|

When I lived in the US, the rumors had it that there was some weird consspirdacy going on with super advanced surveillance programs by the name of Echelon and Carnivore. CISPA is just another acronym by now.

Also I look at this kind of thing like this:
