Both games set in the World of Aden up to 70% off

Thuderscape and Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall, two very different classic RPG titles sharing the original setting of the World of Aden, are available bundled on GOG.com with 70% discount. That's only $3.58 for both for the next 24 hours.

In 1995, that is 19 years ago, Strategic Simulations Inc. set out to create a whole new fantastic universe that would become a canvas, on which they would depict epic campaigns and heroic sagas. The legendary developer team decided to take the popular pulp-fantasy tropes, put them through a grinder, mix in some steampunk pizzazz for that special coppery aftertaste, and slap a catchy--and a tad pompous--name on their creation. Thus, the World of Aden came to existence. It never became as popular as some of the fantastic realms of eternal fame, and it only witnessed two heroic campaigns in the end, but it surely deserves its place in the role-play gaming hall of fame. Today, GOG.com invites you for a trip to this amazing forgotten land.

Thunderscape presents you with many time-proven RPG ideas that work together so well, that it's astounding that anyone would want to modify them. You get a party of six brave champions, a large gameworld to explore, lots of items to collect, stats to build, and enemies to slay. While roaming the world, the game progresses in real-time, switching to turn-based combat whenever you approach (or get ambushed by) an opponent. With everything that made dungeon crawlers so successful in the 1990 and some very distinctive steampunk-ish feel, this game is highly recommended to all cRPG fans looking for a challenge!

Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall is a RPG-ish action-adventure game set in the world of Aden, introduced by Thunderscape. This isn't a sequel though, but a completely stand-alone tale presented by different means. This time we get a top-down view, a single character, and more puzzle and combat-oriented gameplay. With the ability to morph into insect-like beasts to take on your enemies, an intriguing story, and enough in-game content to keep you busy for 40 hours, this classic title deserves to become a part of your collection of PC oldies.

Grab them both for only $3.58, today! You can also get just Thuderscape or Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall with 60% off discount, that is for $2.39 each. If you already own one of them on GOG.com, you can get the other with the higher discount rate, that's for only $1.79. The Classic Gem Promo offer lasts until Tuesday, January 21, at 10:59AM GMT.

Crosmando: Whatever happened to the Strategy Guide for Thunderscape? I thought the new owners of the games were able to get a hard-copy to be scanned or something?
I have no idea, really. Something could have come up, maybe?
A quick shout out goes to mkienenb for the Entomorph manual :) Thanks again!
