I'd love to see the SSi series of AD&D RPGs come to GOG -- especially the Forgotten Realms/Pool of Radiance series (Pool of Radiance / Curse of the Azure Bonds / Secret of the Silver Blades / Pools of Darkness, and the Unlimited Adventures editor set) and the Dragonlance/Krynn series (Champions of Krynn / Death Knights of Krynn / The Dark Queen of Krynn).

I've been searching on old posts, and they've been mentioned quite a bit, but I couldn't find any definite statement about who had the rights and whether GOG could possibly secure releases of them to sell here.

I'm assuming a lot of other people would grab DRM-free/optimised versions of these if they were available?

So what's the story on it being a possibility? Anyone know?
These would be an insta-buy for me.

Same here. I never had a chance to buy the Krynn series, but they'd all be great to have. I'd love to have Spelljammer, as well as some of the later SSI games like the Ravenloft series. Truth to be told, there are a bjillion SSI games I'd love to have, including some of the old wargames. Such a loss...
Gold box, Dungeon master, Eye of the beholder, Wizardry 1 - 5, ...
Scratch that!
I want every game ever made to be on GOG.
Do not speak about SSI in front of me:(

I'd like so much to see the rest of the 5 Star General series on GOG and so many other games from their catalog.
It would be great to see the Dark Sun games on GOG, so people could remember there are other D&D settings, and not just Forgotten Realms.
Well the rights to the Infinity Engine D&D games which ARE on GOG, went from Interplay to Atari and, when they went to the wall, they reverted back to Hasbro, the owners of Wizards of the Coast who, in turn, had taken over TSR, the originators of the table-top paper and paper RPG system

The SSI D&D games, on the other hand, will have gone to Ubisoft when SSI collapsed so it's either dispute between Ubisoft and Hasbro, or apathy on the part of Ubi or maybe even Hasbro thinks it would be bad for the D&D brand to re-release them, for some reason (old graphics, old rules etc.)

The 2 related Buck Rogers games that used the same 'Gold Box' engine, based on the TSR table-top system which was only a slightly modified D&D ruleset are going to be even MORE screwed because of the Buck Rogers character licensing, obviously!
Love those games :D

LOL! YMMD!
oh please YES!!
It's such a shame they aren't here already, it's a loss of our history and heritage. There's actually people out there who probably think Baldur's Gate was the first D&D computer game!
It's particularly sad as there is such a of [url=https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5159/7188024013_77c08dc535_o.png]custom modules made with Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures' Goldbox engine, and its small but loyal modding community is still around after more than 20 years and would welcome new players and modders with open arms.
Be sure to vote for them on the GOG wishlist:

SCPM firmly believes the GOG community (en masse) has the power to make publishers sit up and take notice, so I'm providing some contact info.
